I need you for 30 seconds

February 11, 2013

On national TV yesterday, Nancy Pelosi said that the United States government doesn’t have a “spending problem”… twice.

Honest question: what is wrong with Democrats?

First, President Obama told Speaker Boehner last month: “We don’t have a spending problem.”

Now, Nancy Pelosi’s saying: “It is almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem.”

Obviously this is factually incorrect.

  • Every American now owes $52,389 of the national debt.
  • Each family’s bill from China is $10,110.
  • The government will spend $845 billion more than it takes in this year.

More than that — it represents a moral problem with Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.

Their primary solution is to throw taxpayer money that we’ve borrowed from China at our problems. Then Nancy Pelosi has the gall to say spending isn’t a problem.

You and I know this can’t go on. But we also know the media won’t hold Nancy Pelosi accountable for what she said.

So here’s a simple idea: let’s make a ruckus online.

Add your name to this list of people condemning Pelosi’s ridiculous comment — and find out how you can get her attention online.

Together we’re louder and stronger than we are alone.

Add your name and do your part. It only takes about 30 seconds.

Thanks a lot,

Gerrit
