White House v. Woodward: Obama Administration Threatens Famed Journalist

February 28, 2013

The Obama Administration does not like anyone challenging their version of events. They’re not used to it and have since started to lash out.

Since his famed book, The Price of Politics, dropped last September, Woodward has put the idea of sequester solely with President Obama and his administration. Now that the fight of Obama’s disastrous automatic spending cuts has taken center stage, the fight has been brought back.

You’ll recall last month that Republicans used a passage from the book when The White House tried to blame Congress for the sequester.

Over the weekend, Woodward penned a piece for the Post saying The White House is moving the goalposts on the sequester by demanding that Congress raise taxes. That move brought this fight out into the open as The White House responding challenging Woodward.

Woodward claimed yesterday, in an interview with Politico, that a senior WH official said Woodward would “regret” this. Then former Senior WH official and Obama 2008 Campaign Manager David Plouffe tweeted that Woodward is losing it.

Threatening a legendary journalist like Woodward shows just how scared The White House is of the truth. It’s time to fight back and tell them that we won’t be intimidated.
