Latest Office Pool: Will Barack Obama Submit A Bracket Or A Budget First?
It’s March and that means one thing: March Madness and the perennial frustration that comes with filling out our NCAA brackets.
For most Americans, this time of year is celebrated through office pools and stealthily streaming the games when your boss isn’t looking. President Obama, however, likes to get in on the fun in a different way.
For the past four years, he’s made his bracket into a spectacle, dramatically unveiling it on national television and dissecting the picks like he’s Dick Vitale.
After all, his budget is almost two months late. It was required by law to be submitted to Congress on February 4th.So we can’t help but wonder whether President Obama will finalize his bracket BEFORE he finalizes his budget?
This would be just another example of President Obama’s sorely misplaced priorities.
Our country is in the fourth year of trillion-dollar budget deficits and we’re expecting President Obama to weigh in Gonzaga’s backcourt before proposing how he’ll fund our government.
Since most families all over the country have had to make and stick to a budget in these hard times, feel free to fill out your own bracket and even take some time to fill out ours!
