Read all about it here.

And now she has gotten her way as the administration is preparing cuts to Medicare Advantage (MA) that will raise premiums by up to $720 per year on New Hampshire seniors and could result in fewer benefits offered.

These cuts to Medicare Advantage will come in three waves: (1) a proposed administration cut of 2.3% in payments beginning in 2014, (2) $192 billion in additional cuts mandated by Obamacare, and (3) a health insurance tax also mandated by Obamacare.

Let’s be clear – 14 million people are on this program, 41% have incomes of lower than $20,000, and 1 in 5 enrollees are minorities.

Some Democrats are even regretting their misguided support for Obamacare’s plan to end Medicare as we know it.

But not Carol Shea-Porter!

So tell us Congressman Shea-Porter, who exactly is “ending Medicare as we know it?

“Carol Shea-Porter wanted to cut Medicare Advantage and she got her way, ending Medicare as thousands of New Hampshire seniors know it. Granite Staters deserve to know that while she was employing dishonest “Mediscare” tactics in her campaign, Shea-Porter has vigorously supported requiring seniors to pay more for Medicare and receive less in the way health benefits.” – NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior
