Ashmont is in Our Hearts
The Ashmont-Adams neighborhood in Dorchester, Massachusetts is the kind of place where you want to raise a family. The kind of place where there are yearly block parties, where cars slow down so that kids can move their street hockey nets, and where the twin brothers at the Ashmont Market always know your name and greet you with a smile. It is a neighborhood that truly represents the spirit of Boston and the character of its communities. It is a place that I was proud to call home.
Today, that neighborhood will unite to pray for eight-year-old Martin Richard, who died in the bombing, as well as his mother and sister, who were both seriously wounded.
