David N. From Tennessee Can’t Afford Medical Coverage

July 23, 2013

“My insurance cost has increased over $120 per month and the coverage has dropped. I now have to pay for all doctor visits out of pocket 100%. Basically, all I have now is a major medical policy. If I’m in an accident and have to hospitalized the provider pays 80% and I have to pay the rest out of pocket. For example if my hospital bill was $100,000 I have to come up with $20,000. Most hospitals require the co-pay up front. I don’t have that kind of money and the prescription medication coverage is completely gone, I get coupons. I work for a city that is going 100% Obama care insurance for everyone. So much for keeping your same policy. I pray I don’t get sick because it will cost me my life savings.”
