Democrat Erin Bilbray’s “Thud” of a Campaign Launch

July 24, 2013

24 daysOn July 16th, Jon Ralston reported, “for the last two weeks we’ve tried to bring you an interview with Democratic congressional candidate, Erin Bilbray.”

It is now July 24th, almost a month after her July 1st announcement, and Erin Bilbray is nowhere to be found.

Her campaign website is still nothing but a splash page, she has held no public campaign events, and still hasn’t taken Ralston up on his interview offer. But as a professional political hack with credentials ranging from Democratic National Committeewoman to founder of a political group for women candidates, why is Erin Bilbray ducking interviews?

“Since announcing her candidacy, Erin Bilbray has offered no ideas or solutions to Nevadans. With her silence, Bilbray is sending a clear message that she intends to let her professional partisan credentials and support from National Democrats define her. Erin Bilbray is not ready for prime time.” – Alleigh Marré, NRCC Spokeswoman
