ANOTHER Recruitment Failure For National Democrats
National Democrats are (still) having a tough time finding candidates to run for Congress.
Their recruiting efforts have publicly crashed and burned several times this cycle – but now their failed recruits are on the Daily Show taking the Democrats’ recruitment failures to a new level.
When asked if Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez really turned down a bid for Congress after outreach from National Democrats, Perez responded,
“That’s right. I did. Resoundingly.”
After Perez turned them down, Democrats have had a hard time finding anyone to put their name on the ticket in the 21st District.
“The Democrats’ recruitment failure is not unique to California’s 21st district.
