President Obama: “No One Is More Mindful Than Me For The Need For Nancy Pelosi To Be Speaker Again”

Today, President Obama met with nervous House Democrats in an apparent conference on what to tell their constituents during August recess.

Though the president likely didn’t talk about the need for a balanced budget that will create jobs, he did talk about the need to return Nancy Pelosi to the Speaker’s chair.

Obama reportedly told Dems: “No one is more mindful than me for the need for Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker again.”

This, unfortunately, is not shocking.

Ever since Election Night 2012, President Obama has made taking back the House his number one goal. He’s taken the lead in recruiting, fundraising, and instructed his campaign staff to hand over his vaunted political organization to Democrat candidates.

He knows that the only thing that stands between him and complete control of Washington is the Republican majority in the House.
