White House Continues to Withhold ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers

October 21, 2013

3 weeks after ObamaCare sign-ups began, the White House has yet to share with the American people the number of people who have successfully enrolled.

What’s the hold up? After today’s address at the White House, it’s clear that the Administration is embarrassed about the website glitches and the inability for thousands to enroll in the health care program successfully.

According to the Associated Press White House Correspondent Julie Pace, the administration is being “selectively transparent” in their reporting:

“Part of what’s been so frustrating about this as a reporter is that we know that they have these numbers,” Pace said Monday. “It’s not as though they have to wait for some tech person off in some far-off place to send them the data — they’re getting these numbers in.”

We’re not fooled – we know that these numbers are dismal, and press conferences and repeated assurances that enrollment has been a success is not convincing the American public.

It’s time for honest responses – and right now the Administration is playing a serious game of dodge ball.
