Family-Owned Bowling Alley in Ohio Forced to Cut Employee Health Care & Hours Thanks to ObamaCare

October 22, 2013

Today, it was reported that a 74 year old family-owned business in Ohio is no longer providing health care for their employees, and will be slashing hours to part-time only thanks to ObamaCare.

Poelking Bowling Lanes, owned by the Poelking family, will be dropping coverage for 150 of their employees due to the health care law’s coverage costs.

“With what’s going on with the mandate we really can’t look to be hiring full time employees.” – Joe Poelking, owner of Poelking Bowling

The Poelkings own bowling alleys in Centerville, Kettering, Huber Heights and Dayton, Ohio.
