NJ-03: “Maybe you shouldn’t be running for Congress until you know what you’re talking about.”

In case you missed it, Aimee Belgard, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s newly minted candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, was on the Dom Giordano program today to talk about her run for Congress.

Check it out here.

Belgard was clearly unprepared to talk about how to fix ObamaCare, despite the fact that it is a topic that has been dominating the news for weeks. This led Giordano to say to Belgard on the air: “Maybe you shouldn’t be running for Congress until you know what you’re talking about.”

Ouch! Talk about the wrong way to start a campaign.

NRCC Comment: “It looks like Aimee Belgard drank a little too much of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Kool-Aid when deciding to jump into the race for Congress in the Third District of New Jersey. While the disastrous reality of Obamacare clearly was not part of the DCCC’s recruitment pitch to Belgard, she had better figure out how to address it a lot better than she did today because she is going to have to spend the next year defending it.” – NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior
