January 14, 2014

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today that former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be the keynote speaker at the committee’s annual March Dinner.

“Condoleezza Rice’s life embodies the American dream,” said NRCC Chairman Greg Walden. “From growing up in the Jim Crow-era south to traveling the world as the nation’s top diplomat, she is living proof that our country is the land of opportunity. The House Republican majority is committed to ensuring that all Americans have the opportunity to live a full and prosperous life—free from government intrusion. We look forward to hosting her and working with her to grow that majority in 2014.”

“America is at its best when it is strong and prosperous both at home and abroad,” said Condoleezza Rice. “That is why we need a robust Republican majority in the House working each day to promote peace and economic opportunity for all. I’m proud to join with the NRCC in promoting these values across the country.”
