Here’s Wishing ObamaCare A Very Unhappy 4th Birthday

  • Birthday’s just sneak up on you, don’t they? I can’t believe it’s already been 4 years that ObamaCare has been raising premiums, canceling plans, and cutting Medicare.

  • For many Americans, yesterday was nothing but an unhappy reminder of Democrats’ broken promises.

  • As the recent special election in Florida showed, ObamaCare is as unpopular as it’s even been and still a stone-cold political loser for Democrats.

  • Four years later, voters are fed up with the law and the Washington politicians who continue to stand behind it. To the embattled Democrats who refuse to back down from the failed law, either leave Congress on your own terms or lose. It’s that simple.

On March 23, 2010, President Obama Signed ObamaCare Into Law. With the strokes of 22 pens, President Obama signed his landmark health care overhaul — the most expansive social legislation enacted in decades — into law on Tuesday, saying it enshrines ‘the core principle that everybody should have some basic security when it comes to their health care.’” (Robert Pear and Sheryl Gay Stolberg, “Obama Signs Health Care Overhaul Bill, With a Flourish,” The New York Times, 3/23/10)

56 Percent Of Americans View ObamaCare Unfavorably. (Rasmussen Reports, 3/3/14)

54 Percent Of Americans Disapprove Of President Obama’s Job Performance. “For the first time in a Fox News poll, fewer than four voters in ten — 38 percent — approve of President Obama’s job performance. Fifty-four percent disapprove. Before now Obama’s worst job rating was 40-55 percent in November 2013. Last month 42 percent approved and 53 percent disapproved (February 2014).” (Dana Blanton, “Fox News Poll: Obama’s Approval Hits New Low,” Fox News, 3/5/14)
