Ruiz’s Vote Hurts Hiring, Shrinks Paychecks, Cuts Hours

Another Partisan Vote For The California Democrat

WASHINGTON – When Democrats passed ObamaCare, they shrunk the full-time workweek from forty hours to thirty. In turn, this move stifled job creation by cutting workers’ hours and shrinking their paychecks.

Raul Ruiz today voted against a common sense fix to this job-killing measure. Instead of supporting a common sense effort to restore the forty hour workweek Americans have known for years, Ruiz and his unbending support of ObamaCare have once again stalled the engines of economic growth.

“Raul Ruiz voted for California families to see smaller paychecks and fewer hours,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “By sticking with an unpopular president and an even more unpopular law, he’s actively stifling job creation.”
