By now, you probably have heard that the quasi-Democrat running in Florida’s 13th district, Ed Jany, has dropped out after questions were raised about his “dubious” background.
But before national Democrats and the DCCC try to tell you this really doesn’t matter, let’s take a little walk down memory lane…
- President Obama won this district twice
- Democrats already spent $3.7 million in March to win this seat
- DCCC Chair Steve Israel vowed the race would be competitive in the fall
- And who can forget how much Democrats touted Jany in just the 11 days he was a candidate
Honest question for our friends at the DCCC: How can you honestly claim to have any shot to win back the House, if you can’t even field a candidate in a competitive seat like Florida’s 13th district?
