#TBT: When Obama Said His White House Is Taking The VA Scandal “Very Seriously” 

This “Throwback Thursday,” let’s look at the latest example where President Obama has failed to follow through on his promises to the American people.

After shocking revelations surrounding the Department of Veterans Affairs surfaced last month, President Obama told the nation, “We take the allegations very seriously.”

It’s been more than a month, President Obama. What has been done? The American public and our nation’s veterans deserve answers, and the White House cannot remain detached as it has with every other scandal that has passed through its doors.

Where’s the accountability? Obama pledged nearly six years ago that he would reform health care for veterans. He has not fulfilled his promise and has taken a back seat, along with House Democrats, to demanding accountability.
