Kuster Will Have to Decide Between Saving Jobs or Filling Her Campaign Coffers

WASHINGTON – Today, Environmental Protection Agency Chief Gina McCarthy, unveiled the Administration’s costly and job-destroying carbon limit rule. Now, Annie Kuster will have to decide between saving the economy and jobs or supporting the President’s liberal cap-and-trade scheme for political gain.

In a recent study, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce found that the new cap-and-trade scheme could cost the U.S. economy $50 billion a year and eliminate an estimated 224,000 jobs. This is coming on the heels of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s recent press release stating the economy “decreased at an annual rate of 1.0 percent in the first quarter.”

“Unfortunately for New Hampshire families, the Democrats’ new cap-and-trade scheme will take more money from their pockets,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Instead of ensuring New Hampshire families have more fiscal stability, Annie Kuster will fall in line along with her Democratic allies as she is in the political fight for her life this November.”
