Mo Money Mo Problems for Sean Eldridge

June 5, 2014

The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy and Ma$e knew a little bit about what it’s like to be $ean Eldridge – after all, the more we learn about Eldridge’s money that more problems we see.

Today we learned that Eldridge is a huge investor in, wait for it, BIG BANKS, BIG OIL, BIG TOBACCO, and just generally big corporate interests. And that seems pretty problematic because Eldridge takes every opportunity to bash those same interests which are essentially funding his campaign and ability to collect mansions.

We also learned that Eldridge’s Super PAC disguised as a venture capital firm has spent $1.7 million trying to buy votes in the district. Add that to the approximately $1 million Eldridge has put into his campaign and Eldridge has spent $2.7 million trying to buy a seat in Congress.

Which leads to one question – is $ean Eldridge the biggest hypocrite in politics today?

** Fun fact, when Mo Money Mo Problems came out in 1997 Chris Gibson was teaching at West Point and working on his PHD at Cornell. Sean Eldridge was a 10 year old plotting his rise to power in American politics.

NRCC Comment: “World’s biggest phony Sean Eldridge has millions of dollars invested in big banks, big oil companies, big tobacco companies, and other big corporations that he hypocritically criticizes on the campaign trail. If Eldridge seems to think he can win an election buying votes and misleading Hudson Valley families about who he is and what he really stands for, he is going to be in for a rude awakening this fall.” – NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior
