New Emails Show Lois Lerner Targeted Republican Senator

WASHINGTON – Just yesterday news broke that emails show Lois Lerner attempted to target Republican U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley. This is yet another shocking and appalling development in a scandal that has already engulfed Washington’s most-hated bureaucracy.

And where is John Tierney? He has refused to hold the IRS accountable up until this point. Maybe the IRS targeting a fellow elected official will finally change his mind? He’s already embarrassed himself by recklessly supporting President Obama’s agenda and refusing to hold the IRS accountable. It’s not too late to do the right thing, however, and speak out against these outrageous abuses of power. In John Tierney’s Washington, the IRS would run wild and without any oversight.
