Obama’s So Unpopular One Of The Most Corrupt Politicians In DC Won’t Even Stand Next To Him

Poor President Obama.

He’s so unpopular that Democrats are running away from him…and fast. Newsday is reporting that the president is heading to Long Island for a fundraiser on October 16th, but the two congressional candidates facing competitive races in the area won’t be there to join him.

“The two Democratic congressional candidates facing the most competitive Long Island races in November — Rep. Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) and Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice, who is running to succeed retiring Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-Mineola) — will not go to the fundraiser, their campaigns said Wednesday.”

President Obama is the least of Tim Bishop’s problems. He’s the focus of a House Ethics Committee investigation for helping a constituent secure government permits, then asking for a campaign contribution.

It just shows how far President Obama has fallen. When one of the most corrupt politicians in all of Washington won’t stand next to you, you’ve got some problems.
