Watch NRCC Ad Highlighting Bera’s Hyper-Partisanship in Congress

September 23, 2014

Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee released its first ad in California’s 7th Congressional District highlighting Ami Bera’s hyper-partisanship in Congress. The ad, titled “Priorities,” points to Bera’s votes to raise the debt ceiling and to support the $700 billion cuts in Medicare found in the President’s failed health care law.

Watch the ad here:

NRCC Comment: “Ami Bera campaigned as a doctor but immediately turned into a partisan Democrat who votes with Nancy Pelosi nearly 80% of the time. Bera’s reckless votes to increase the debt ceiling and support Obamacare, which cuts Medicare by $700 billion, show how much he’s lost touch with his constituents.” – Tyler Q. Houlton, NRCC Spokesman

Transcript:

ANNCR: Ami Bera talks about putting people first.

Problem is, those people are Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi.

In Washington, Bera voted with Pelosi nearly 80% of the time.

Bera voted to increase the debt ceiling, just like Pelosi.

Bera even supported Obamacare, which cuts Medicare by $700 billion, and cuts Medicare Advantage by $900 dollars for local seniors.

Ami Bera. The people he puts first are Obama and Pelosi.
