Guess How Much HealthCare.gov Has Cost?? You Won’t Believe It.

September 25, 2014

According to a Bloomberg article, the cost to create the often bugged and malfunctioning HealthCare.gov has cost taxpayers about $2.1 billion.

The Bloomberg Government analysis also found that the “spending for healthcare.gov and related programs, including at the Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies,” will exceed the Administration’s most recent cost estimate of $834 million. Now, taxpayers will have to find new ways to budget their expenses in order to pay for the new HealthCare.gov “fixes.”

This November, taxpayers will demonstrate their frustrations with the ObamaCare by electing Republican leaders to Congress who will block funding for HealthCare.gov and promote real healthcare reform.

From Bloomberg:

“The way in which Obamacare has been rolled out has been very messy,” with spending scattered across dozens of contracts, many of them predating the law and amended afterward, said Peter Gosselin, a senior health-care analyst at BGov and lead author of study. “One of the reasons it has been implemented in the way it has been, financially, is precisely to deny opponents of the law a clear target.”
