A Year Since Its Disastrous Website Debut, Julia Brownley Still Standing Up For ObamaCare

WASHINGTON – One year ago today—with much fanfare—the ObamaCare website was unveiled…and promptly flopped.

The $2 billion website was just the start of the ObamaCare disaster. California families will see even higher premiums in 2015 and even more cancelled plans. What’s Julia Brownley’s answer? Keep voting with President Obama and rubberstamping his agenda. It’s time for someone in Washington who will put a check on the Obama Administration.

“One year ago, California voters saw very clearly what a government-run healthcare system looks like,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “The failure of the ObamaCare website is nothing compared to the failure of the law to keep healthcare costs down and let families keep the plans they were promised. All the while, Julia Brownley has offered nothing to dismantle this boondoggle of a law.”

Obamacare Website Costs Exceed $2 Billion, Study Finds. “The federal government’s Obamacare enrollment system has cost about $2.1 billion so far, according to a Bloomberg Government analysis of contracts related to the project.”
