Sheila Simon wants to be a professor. Here are the classes she should teach.

simon lectureFormer Lt. Governor Sheila Simon recently indicated that she was interested in teaching political science courses at SIU – that is unless she decides to run for Congress. Based on her time in the Quinn administration, below is a list of suggested classes for which Simon’s personal experience would make her the perfect professor:

  • Liberal Economics: Taxes, red tape, and deficits
  • Ethics: Patronage and political clout
  • Finance: How NOT to build a budget
  • Modern History: 21st Century Failed Governors
  • Political Science: Political appointments vs running campaigns

NRCC Comment: “Sheila Simon could certainly give political science students expert lectures on the Quinn/Simon agenda that helped create Illinois’ huge budget deficits and stubborn unemployment numbers. No matter if she is in the classroom or on the campaign trail, Simon can’t escape the havoc wreaked on 12th District families during her time in the Quinn administration.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
