DCCC attacks David Jolly for voting for bill supported by 88% of Dems, hilarity ensues

May 28, 2015

The DCCC launched attack ads against Florida Congressman David Jolly today for his vote to fully fund the highway trust fund for two more months.  The issue for the DCCC?  They are attacking David Jolly for supporting a bill also supported by 88% of Democrats, including the chairman of the DCCC, every House Democrat from Florida, and Nancy Pelosi.  The bill ultimately passed 387 to 35.

The press was quick to pick up on this.

NRCC Comment:  “The DCCC brain trust missed the memo that if they are going to pick a fight, it shouldn’t be on a vote supported by 88% of Democrats, including the Chairman of the DCCC and Nancy Pelosi.  With head-scratching decisions like this, it’s no wonder that House Democrats have the fewest number of members since the Great Depression.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
