With Hillary Clinton visiting Capitol Hill today, House Democrats are lining up to ride her coattails into office in 2016 per the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. But will their fate be the same as those who followed Nancy Pelosi’s lurch to the left in the 2014 election, which gave House Republicans an historic majority?

As Hillary Clinton moves further to the left, pandering to progressives and playing catch-up with Bernie Sanders, she is paving an extreme liberal agenda for House Democrats to follow in the coming election.  Even worse for the Democrats is that a recent poll found that a majority of voters in key swing states do not think Hillary Clinton is honest or trustworthy.  With friends with coattails like that, who needs enemies?

“Brad Ashford’s political future is looking bleak if he plans to join his colleagues in riding the coattails of an untrustworthy and dishonest Hillary Clinton,” said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin.  “The only thing that Ashford will be doing is riding Hillary’s coattails off a political cliff and further into political obscurity. So is Brad Ashford #ReadyForHillary?”
