NRCC Launches Digital Campaign Highlighting Scott Peters’ Troubling GITMO votes

August 18, 2015

The National Republican Congressional Committee is launching a paid digital campaign in California’s 52nd Congressional District highlighting Scott Peters’ votes to close GITMO. This ad is part of a month-long digital effort to highlight how Peters’ extreme votes impact the heavily military district.

“With more than 40,000 thousand San Diegans actively serving in the armed forces to protect our nation, it is unconscionable that Scott Peters would vote to close GITMO and allow terrorist to roam free. 52nd District families deserve someone who understands the threats our military members face and will fight to keep them safe. ” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter

Script:

ANNC: It’s a dangerous world.

Yet Scott Peters voted to close Guantanamo Bay.

And let terrorists roam free.

Peters’ votes put San Diego at risk.

Horrific attacks, more likely than ever.

It’s happened before.

With Peters in Congress, it could happen again.
