Only a few hours left for Morgan Carroll to do the right thing

October 22, 2015

timePresident Barack Obama is threatening to veto the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) over bipartisan opposition to his plan to close GITMO and bring terrorists onto US soil, but Morgan Carroll has continually refused to stand up to the president’s veto threat. Just last week, DOD officials were in CO examining potential facilities in which to transfer GITMO terrorists, but still nothing from Carroll.

The Obama administration announced the president could formally veto the NDAA as early as this afternoon, leaving only a few hours for Carroll to fight to keep our troops funded and terrorists out of Colorado. Will Carroll continue to remain silent on this important issue?

“Time is running out for Morgan Carroll to stand up for our troops and fight to keep terrorists off U.S. soil and out of Colorado. With only a few hours left before the president could veto the bipartisan NDAA, Carroll needs to put partisan politics aside and do the right thing.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
