Pete Gallego Applauds Obama’s Rejection of Texas Jobs

November 6, 2015

pgThat clapping sound you hear is Pete Gallego applauding President Obama’s rejection of the Keystone XL Pipeline and the well-paying Texas jobs that would come with it. Gallego has long sided with extreme environmentalists and opposed the project that would create thousands of jobs and provide a boost to Texas’ vast oil and gas industry. Instead of fighting for 23rd District families, Gallego chose to toe the Democrat Party line and side with special interests in the fight against this common sense project.

“Today, Pete Gallego finally got his wish when President Obama sided with extreme environmentalists and officially killed the Keystone XL Pipeline project that would be a huge boon to Texas’ oil and gas industry. Gallego has long opposed the pipeline, voting against it while he was in Washington and continuing to put partisan politics ahead of 23rd District families, even after they booted him out of office.” – NRCC spokesman Zach Hunter
