Morgan Carroll Welcomes GITMO Terrorists To CO
Can you believe this? Morgan Carroll told the Denver Post that she fully supports closing GITMO at all costs, even if that means bringing terrorist detainees to Colorado. From the Post:
Carroll supports the closure of the detention facility, which she called “a symbol of everything un-American.”
“If we don’t have the evidence, we should quit holding people indefinitely,” said Carroll, who added that the U.S. should “charge, try and prosecute” the detainees and hold them in the most secure facility that’s available — even if it’s in Colorado.
“Only if we are the safest place,” she said.
Despite the official objections of 41 Colorado Sheriff, Morgan Carroll has put the campaign promises of the Obama Administration above the safety of Colorado families. As ISIS continues to wreak havoc across the globe, Morgan Carroll continues to demonstrate that she is out of touch with 6th District families and far more interested in playing politics than doing what is right for Coloradans’ safety.
“By unabashedly supporting the transfer of GITMO terrorists to Colorado, Morgan Carroll has shown she is either unprepared or unwilling to address the threats that terrorism poses to Colorado families.
