Santarsiero chooses the tax-happy liberal path

March 1, 2016

SantarsieroIt looks like Steve Santarsiero has chosen to run to the left of Shaughnessy Naughton in the Democratic primary in PA-08.  The evidence?  He’s touting the endorsement of the most liberal governor in the country,  Tom Wolf.  (Because that should play well in the Republican leaning PA-08).

So does Santarsiero support the following tax hikes proposed by Wolf?

Asking for a friend.

NRCC Comment:  “We congratulate Steve Santarsiero for being endorsed by an out-of-touch millionaire governor who has proposed new taxes on baby diapers, burial caskets and everything in between.  The people of Pennsylvania’s 8th District should be concerned that Santarsiero will try bringing these same tax-and-spend policies to Congress.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
