Lucy Flores Is Crushing Kihuen And Lee In Weekly Fundraising

May 2, 2016

cash moneyAfter blowing away the competition with a $428,000 haul in early April, Lucy Flores again bested her rivals by bringing in more than $51,000 for the week ending on April 28th. Flores, Susie Lee, and Ruben Kihuen have all agreed to report their weekly fundraising totals leading up to the June 14th primary. Here are the numbers:

Lucy Flores:                        $51,056.54 from 3,679 donations
Ruben Kihuen:                  $22,278.27 from 185 donations
Susie Lee:                            $4,099.42 from 31 donations

Flores more than doubled Kihuen’s haul, and did it with more than 3,500 small donors. Clearly there is more where that came from. Flores has harnessed the grassroots fundraising power of Bernie Sanders’ campaign and is pulling away from both the Harry Reid anointed  Kihuen and self-funding limousine liberal Lee, in the final stretch of the campaign.

NRCC Comment: “Much to the chagrin of Washington Democrats, Flores has harnessed the grassroots fundraising power of Bernie Sanders’ campaign and is quickly pulling ahead of her rivals. Flores has embraced the far-left policies of Bernie Sanders and is riding a wave of discontent with the Democratic establishment into the final stretch of the campaign.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
