Funny video of Lon Johnson screwing up his plan

Remember MI-01 candidate Lon Johnson? He’s the guy who lives in Detroit but says he lives in a $36,000 hunting cabin in the Kalkaska woods since it’s in the district. That made for a funny video on Sunday when Johnson was spotted walking into his Detroit residence at the David Whitney Building with his wife, Julianna Smoot.
When Johnson realized he was spotted, he tried pulling a fast one by simply walking past the front door to his residency. The only problem with Johnson’s master plan was that he didn’t convey the plan to his wife, who quickly blew his cover by walking inside. Whoops.
