More Questionable Campaign Cash For Ami Bera

If last week’s campaign finance scandal wasn’t bad enough, Ami Bera is facing another instance of questionable cash funding his campaign. This time, Bera donor Ibrahim Al-Rashid is making headlines as political committees rush to return his contributions after he pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife. Bera should follow Rep. Patrick Murpyhy (D-FL) and Democratic super-PAC Senate Majority PAC’s lead and return Al-Rashid’s donations. Al-Rashid gave Bera $2,600 on 3/28/13.
