Taxin’ Tom skips work to fundraise in MKE

If you are trying to get ahold of Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson today, don’t call the office. Taxin’ Tom is off playing hooky from his taxpayer-funded job to attend a fundraiser down in Milwaukee with tax-hiking ex-Governor Jim Doyle.

While it must be irksome to Outagamie County families to see Nelson skipping out of his current taxpayer-funded job to campaign for a different taxpayer-funded job, it is nice to see Nelson is enlisting the help of Jim Doyle.  After all, Taxin’ Tom served admirably as Jim Doyle’s lap dog in the state legislature when Nelson voted to raise taxes and fees on Wisconsin families by nearly $3 billion.
