National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden issued the following statement on Iowa’s 1^st District Primary Election Results:

“Rod Blum is a tireless advocate for 1^st District families and an independent voice in Washington who works hard to make government more accountable to the people. He’s returned over $100,000 from his office budget to lead by example in reducing federal spending.  After years of seeing the results of failed liberal policies, I am confident that 1^st District families will send Rod back to Washington in November to keep fighting on their behalf.”
