Gretchen Driskell bases her campaign platform on Internet video games

June 20, 2016

GamerWell, this is interesting.  Gretchen Driskell is basing her plan for addressing the $19.2 trillion national debt on a video game that she plays on the Internet.  Driskell made her comments at a campaign event when asked how she would address the national debt.

“There’s a website called The Fiscal Ship. You should check it out.”

And the worst part is that Driskell still didn’t have an answer on how to address the national debt despite her gaming expertise.  Maybe she can enter a cheat code or something the next time she plays.

“I think, umm, I haven’t really identified exactly where I, umm, would make cuts. I think that’s something or, umm,  enhance revenues. I think that’s something that we have to see what happens next year. Who’s in, who’s in office…I don’t have anything or a bill right now that I would put up right now.”

Yikes.

NRCC Comment: “Gretchen Driskell’s solution to the $19.2 trillion national debt is to play video games on the Internet. Michigan families deserve someone who has real solutions to real problems instead of someone like Driskell who relies on video games to come up with a campaign platform.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
