Bryan Caforio Is Running Low On Cash

July 18, 2016

caforio cash crunchDespite being the handpicked candidate of national Democrats and parachuted into the 25th district from Beverly Hills in an attempt to buy a congressional seat, Bryan Caforio is facing serious money issues. In fact, when debt is taken into account, Caforio has less than $82,000 in cash to spend on his campaign. Here are some key stats:

$81,073 – Total cash Caforio has to run his campaign, after debts are deducted.

$56,593 – Total debt held by Caforio for Congress.

$537,459 – Steve Knight’s cash on hand advantage when the same math is applied. That’s more than 6.5 times Caforio’s equivalent COH.

National Democrats have been talking up Caforio’s candidacy since day one, but are now very quiet about their handpicked carpetbagger’s fundraising numbers.

NRCC Comment: “Despite being the handpicked candidate of Washington Democrats, Beverly Hills trial lawyer Bryan Caforio’s campaign is short on cash and short on time. Caforio’s cash crunch going into the heat of the campaign only gives him a steeper hill to climb in order to even hope to compete with a popular and better financed incumbent in Steve Knight.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
