Hillary Clinton…the more the American people get to know her, the less popular she becomes. The above chart illustrates the stunning decline in her favorability, from the day she left her post as Secretary of State to today.

  • Since her last day at the State Department, February 1, 2013, Clinton has suffered a stunning 52% drop in net favorability, from 63% favorable – 28.2% unfavorable to 38.4% favorable – 55.6% unfavorable.
  • Recent polls show that voters overwhelmingly view Clinton as dishonest and untrustworthy.
    • The Economist/YouGov poll shows just 25% of voters consider Clinton honest and trustworthy, compared to 60% that do not.
    • The CNN/ORC poll shows a 34%-65% margin on the honest and trustworthy question.
    • The CBS News/New York Times poll delivers the worst margin for Clinton with 28% viewing her as honest and trustworthy compared to 67% who say she is not.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump tied going into conventions – CBS/NYT poll. “While Clinton was not indicted for matters relating to her use of a private email account and server for her work as Secretary of State, she was harshly criticized by the FBI director, and her standing on some key candidate qualities has taken a bit of a hit. Sixty-seven percent of voters now say Clinton is not honest and trustworthy, up from 62 percent last month and the highest percentage this election cycle.
