New revelations highlight Jacky Rosen’s Iran Deal flip-flop

August 15, 2016

RosenWith another high-ranking Democrat admitting the Iran Deal could fund terrorism, Jacky Rosen’s flip-flop on her support for the deal only highlights how 3rd District voters cannot trust her judgement on vital national security issues. In a televised debate yesterday, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to rule out that the deal could fund attacks on Israel, saying , “you cannot guarantee anything.”  Earlier this year, Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that some sanctions relief would likely go to terrorists.

Despite all warning signs, Rosen initially supported the deal. Then, realizing how detrimental her position could be to her election prospects, Rosen reversed course and said she would have opposed it. With the United States facing threats from all corners of the globe, 3rd District voters cannot trust someone who lacks the judgement and political will necessary to protect our country and our allies.

NRCC Comment: “Jacky Rosen’s flip-flop on the dangerous nuclear deal with Iran showcases just how badly she lacks the judgment and political will necessary to keep 3rd District families safe. As more Democrats admit the Iran Deal could fund terrorism, Rosen’s flip-flip only gives voters more reason to question her readiness to serve.” –NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
