With another high-ranking Democrat admitting the Iran Deal could fund terrorism, Jacky Rosen’s flip-flop on her support for the deal only highlights how 3rd District voters cannot trust her judgement on vital national security issues. In a televised debate yesterday, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz refused to rule out that the deal could fund attacks on Israel, saying , “you cannot guarantee anything.” Earlier this year, Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that some sanctions relief would likely go to terrorists.
Despite all warning signs, Rosen initially supported the deal. Then, realizing how detrimental her position could be to her election prospects, Rosen reversed course and said she would have opposed it. With the United States facing threats from all corners of the globe, 3rd District voters cannot trust someone who lacks the judgement and political will necessary to protect our country and our allies.
