Ruben Kihuen Called Out For Lying About Hardy’s Record

August 16, 2016

Kihuen liesYesterday during a press conference, Ruben Kihuen blatantly lied about Congressman Cresent Hardy’s record and subsequently got called out on it. From NBC Las Vegas:

“In Congress, he voted to defund DACA,” said Democrat Ruben Kihuen, referring to GOP incumbent Cresent Hardy.

(Hardy, in fact, did not vote to block money for DACA. In January 2015, he, along with the rest of the Nevada Congressional delegation voted against an amendment that would have blocked funding.)

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Kihuen, a career politician, is willing to say anything – even lie – to get elected.

NRCC Comment: “Career politician Ruben Kihuen should be ashamed of blatantly lying to 4th District voters. Kihuen knows that he has no choice but to demagogue important issues in hopes of distracting from his weak record as a career politician who is always on the lookout for his next promotion.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
