Brad Schneider Reaffirms His Support of Iran Deal to Chicago Tribune Editorial Board
Yesterday, Brad Schneider again reiterated his support for the dangerous nuclear deal with Iran, telling the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board that “we have to make sure this deal works.”
Schneider has tried to have it both ways on the deal, cynically breaking his promise to oppose it when faced with a strong primary challenge from the left. Schneider’s political doublespeak on the agreement is reaching the point of absurdity, especially when contrasted with Bob Dold’s crystal clear and consistent opposition to the reckless deal.
Both the Administration and Schneider have misled on the issue, with breaking reports this morning revealing that Iran was granted “secret exemptions” to allow the agreement to move forward. When it comes to Iran, neither the Administration nor Schneider can be trusted to be honest with voters.
