Rick Nolan has gotten comfortable in his decade in Washington. But he has also become out of touch with the Minnesota voters he is supposed to be representing in Congress.

The National Republican Congressional Committee is on the airwaves today with its first ad of 2016 in Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District, highlighting Nolan’s votes to raise his own pay, while voting against pay raises for the men and women of our military.

NRCC Statement: “Rick Nolan has built a record as one of the most extreme, far-left members of Congress during his decade in Washington. This ad, highlighting his votes for pay raises for himself, but not for our military, is just the first in a series that will highlight how out-of-touch he is with Minnesota voters.”NRCC Spokesman Bob Salera

Announcer:

Rick Nolan has been in Congress for 10 years.

He’s…comfortable.

But Nolan was UN-comfortable giving a pay raise to American Soldiers.

Four times Nolan turned down soldiers and their families for help.

But Nolan voted to raise his own salary, five times.

Five times for his own comfort. But against raises for our military.

Because Rick Nolan only cares about the comfort, of Rick Nolan.
