NRCC TV Ad Highlighting Ruben Kihuen’s “Hostile” Record and Cresent Hardy’s Common Sense

September 20, 2016

For Cresent Hardy it’s common sense that the government should have to balance the budget, just like Nevada families. But Ruben Kihuen bragged about passing the largest tax hike in Nevada history, and voted to allow a pay raise for himself. It’s clear that Ruben Kihuen is out for himself, not Nevada.

The National Republican Congressional Committee is on the airwaves today with a new ad highlighting the clear contrast between Cresent Hardy’s common sense and Ruben Kihuen’s self-interested ambition and “hostile” record towards Nevada businesses and taxpayers.

NRCC Statement: “4th District voters have a clear choice between Cresent Hardy’s common sense support for balanced budgets and Ruben Kihuen’s hostile record towards businesses and taxpayers. Kihuen is clearly out for himself, always happy to raise taxes on Nevadans while voting to allow himself a pay raise.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter

Script:

ANNCR: To Cresent Hardy, it’s common sense:

Nevada families have to balance their budgets – Congress should, too.

And Hardy’s working to create good-paying jobs for us, not Washington.

 Ruben Kihuen’s different.

Newspapers call Kihuen “hostile” to jobs and taxpayers.

He bragged about passing the largest tax hike in Nevada history…

…Yet voted to allow a pay raise for himself.

Ruben Kihuen: out for himself- not Nevada.
