Video: Tom Suozzi says $150k per year makes you poor

Rain is wet. The sun is bright. Rex Ryan loses. Taxin’ Tom Suozzi opens his mouth and says something foolish. What can we say — some things just make for good examples of laws of nature.

Suozzi’s latest foolish comment was when he said, “If you’re making $150,000 in Nassau County, you’re struggling.” It’s an odd thing to say in a county where the average household income is $93,000 per year. It’s an especially odd thing to say considering Suozzi took a $65,000 annual pay raise and raised taxes on Long Island families by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
