ICYMI: Mark Dayton: Affordable Care Act ‘is no longer affordable’

October 12, 2016

In the wake of the staggering increases in health care premiums facing Minnesota families, Democrat Gov. Mark Dayton finally admitted the obvious about Obamacare, saying “Ultimately … the reality is the Affordable Care Act is no longer affordable for an increasing number of people.”

But even as Obamacare is raising premiums in Minnesota by 50-67%, Angie Craig, Terri Bonoff, and Rick Nolan remain firmly in favor of the disastrous law.

  • Angie Craig has pledged to fight to expand Obamacare if elected.
  • Terri Bonoff boasts about the success of Obamacare on her campaign website.
  • Rick Nolan has consistently backed Obamacare in Congress and supports going even further, with a full government takeover of health care.

NRCC Comment: “Democrats from Bill Clinton to Mark Dayton are admitting that Obamacare has been a disaster, raising health care costs for Minnesota families, yet Angie Craig, Terri Bonoff and Rick Nolan are still fully supporting the failed law. Minnesotans deserve representatives in Congress who will fight for them, not liberal politicians like Angie Craig, Terri Bonoff, and Rick Nolan, who are only interested in advancing their liberal ideology.” – NRCC Spokesman Bob Salera
