New Poll: Dold leads Schneider by 7 in IL-10

October 13, 2016

In a new NRCC/Dold for Congress poll out of IL-10, Bob Dold is leading Brad Schneider by 7 points, with a ballot test of 50 to 43.

Also striking is Dold’s image at 45 favorable – 32 unfavorable, one of the top results of the cycle for Dold despite significant negative advertising by Schneider and Democrat groups.

Despite a 3-point Democratic advantage on the generic ballot and a significant disparity on the presidential ballot, Dold is defying political gravity with a group of voters who have a long history of ticket-splitting.

NRCC Comment: “Brad Schneider’s spin machine has spent millions to try and defame Bob Dold’s solid record of independent leadership, but it’s brutally clear voters aren’t buying the lies Schneider is selling and are poised to once again reelect Dold to represent their voices in Congress.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
