NRCC Breaks Fundraising Record And Announces $10 Million Raised In April

May 17, 2017

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today it raised $10 million in April, once again breaking fundraising records in 2017. This is the 4th straight month the committee has raised over $10 million—the longest streak in its history. It is also the best April fundraising total in committee history.

Speaker Paul Ryan transferred $2.75 million to the committee for the month, bringing his 2017 total to nearly $20 million.

“With yet another historic fundraising month, it’s clear we have the momentum to take the fight to Democrats all across the country,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

“It’s my mission to give our Republican members and candidates all the resources they need to succeed. We can’t take our foot off the gas pedal. Nancy Pelosi and national Democrats will stop at nothing to take back power.”

“I want to also personally thank Speaker Paul Ryan for his incredible work in support of our committee. His work, along with the efforts of Majority Leader McCarthy, Whip Scalise, and the rest of the leadership team is integral to our continued success.”
