Bring it on

Recognizing a strong recruitment effort and weak Democratic bench in Nevada’s open Third Congressional District, the Center for Politics is moving their race rating for the seat from Leans Democratic to Toss Up.

Republicans already have strong recruits in the field, like State Senator Scott Hammond and former Clark County GOP Chairman David McKeon. And there are many more considering a run, including LPGA golfer Natalie Gulbis, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation President & CEO Lynda Tache, and businessman Danny Tarkanian.

Meanwhile, Democrats do not have a single candidate filed in this Trump-won, historically Republican seat.

Bottom line: Nevada Democrats better get their act together if they don’t want this seat to slip away in 2018.
